The Switch and Crossing Lifters (XO Beam) are completely remote controlled, eliminating any safe handling issues. The speed of panel removal/installation is critical during limited tracking times to enable rework of the track foundation ahead of replacement of the rail and sleepers.
Affective Rail & Plant has designed and developed the Switch and Crossing lifting equipment to create a safe and highly efficient method of removing, transporting and installation of all types of switches and crossing panels, regardless of the track gauge. Used alongside our transport system, large panels can be transported from build area to site efficiently and ready for install.
